Kristina Stajduhar, RMT

When Kristina was growing up, she was always involved in many different sports and outdoor activities. A knee injury while skiing in 1999 put a temporary end to her activities. The subsequent rehabilitation and long recovery fostered a dramatic lifestyle change and allowed her to shift focus onto herself. Through education in nutrition, exercise, and alternative therapies Kristina was able to overcome the barriers associated with injury and illness. A passion for health and alternative therapies began after her sports injuries and was the reason for pursuing a career in healthcare.

As a registered massage therapist since 2009, Kristina can directly relate with those who are in chronic pain. Every client is given an individual approach to their treatment. Whether it is a therapeutic relaxation massage, sports related injury or postural imbalance that needs correction or one of the vast number of ailments a massage therapist can treat, she always welcomes the challenge. Some methods used in her treatments are Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, hydrotherapy, sport massage and assisted stretching. Kristina is registered in both Ontario and British Columbia with the CMTO, CMTBC and the MTABC. She continues to increase her knowledge of many alternative therapies, nutrition, rehabilitation treatments not only limited to massage therapy and strives to live a holistic and healthy lifestyle.

As a new resident to beautiful British Columbia and after a long but amazing move across Canada from Ottawa, ON she now has a new place to call home. Kristina welcomes people with open arms and a caring heart and knows that we all can make the proper changes to be happy and healthy.
